The cleaned and fluxed wire is submerged in a bath of molten zinc, typically at a temperature of around 450°C (842°F). The zinc reacts with the steel to form a series of zinc-iron alloy layers, topped by a layer of pure zinc. Finally, the finished galvanized wire is spooled again on spools which are used for our welding machines.
