Tip 1: Buy in Bulk

One of the most effective ways to save money on 13 gal trash bags is to buy them in bulk. You can find bulk packs of 13 gal trash bags at many stores, and online retailers like Amazon also offer bulk discounts. By purchasing in bulk, you can save money and reduce the amount of plastic packaging that ends up in the landfill.

Tip 2: Choose Biodegradable Trash Bags

If you're looking to reduce waste and make your home more eco-friendly, consider switching to biodegradable trash bags. These bags are made from plant-based materials and will break down over time, reducing the amount of plastic waste in the landfill. Biodegradable trash bags are available in a variety of sizes, including 13 gal bags.

Tip 3: Reuse Your Trash Bags

If you're using 13 gal trash bags for dry items like paper and plastic, you can reuse the bags multiple times before throwing them away. Simply empty the contents of the bag into your larger trash can, and use the bag again for your next load of dry waste. This will not only save you money, but it will also reduce the amount of plastic waste you generate.

Tip 4: Opt for Store Brands

Instead of buying name-brand 13 gal trash bags, opt for store brands. These bags are often just as effective as name-brand options, but they are typically less expensive. Look for store brands in your local grocery store or purchase them online to save money.

Conclusion:

By following these tips, you can save money and reduce waste with 13 gal trash bags. Whether you choose to buy in bulk, switch to biodegradable bags, reuse your bags, or opt for store brands, there are many ways to cut costs and make your home more eco-friendly. By making small changes like these, we can all do our part to reduce waste and protect the planet.

100% Recycled Trash Bags - Who Gives a Crap

Every year, over 400 million tons of plastics are produced—but only a small fraction of them are turned into new items. That’s why we made these bags from 100% recycled materials, giving old plastic a second life. They’re trash bags made from trash! Pretty cool, right?

Sure do! We’ve done multiple rounds of testing so they’re up for the challenge of your nastiest, most chaotic trash while making better choices for Mama Earth. They’re sturdy, strong and easy to use. They’re built to perform—without compromising your values.

Nope! We’ve priced these bags to make sure we are competitive on a cost per bag basis. We also made sure there are more bags per roll as this was something our customers told us was important to them.

Currently, drawstrings can’t be made from recycled plastic for technical and manufacturing reasons. We could have chosen to use new plastic, but instead chose tie handles so our bags contain 100% recycled content. Tie handles are also much sturdier than drawstrings which often break with heavier loads.

It’s always best to reuse, recycle, or compost when possible. However, some waste will inevitably end up in landfills. Landfills are designed to prevent biodegradation, because when materials do degrade in them, they produce more methane. Because of this, recycled plastic is the more sustainable option since it generates very minimal methane over long time periods. Compostable starch plastic bags have a large climate impact when put into landfills since they generate methane when they biodegrade, and should only be used when they end up at a compost facility.
